Tierra Verde Golf Club is the result of a unique partnership between the City of Arlington, renowned designers Graham & Panks International and Audubon International. Their goal was to create a spectacular championship golf facility with a design sensitive to the environment. Recognized as the 2004 Golf Digest Environmental Leaders in Golf Award, Tierra Verde is the first golf course in Texas and the first municipal course in the world to be certified as an Audubon Signature Sanctuary. This prestigious designation is awarded to only new developments designed and built using Audubon's sustainable resource management principles. These principles include wildlife conservation and habitat enhancement, water quality management and conservation, energy efficiency, waste reduction and integrated pest management.
Dallas Morning News recently ranked Tierra Verde Golf Club as No. 80 in the Top 100 Golf Courses in Texas. The Top 100 list showcases the Lone Star State's best courses regardless of accessibility, meaning that courses such as Tierra Verde are ranked along with the state's best private and high-end public tracks. The latest DMN rankings join past accolades, including being a three-time host site for PGA Tour - CJ Cup Byron Nelson Open Qualifying, three-time host site for USGA Championship Qualifying, and numerous PGA & NTPGA Championships.

Hours of Operation
Play begins at Tierra Verde Golf Club thirty minutes after daylight and ends thirty (30) minutes before dark daily except Thanksgiving and Christmas Day. Call for Holiday hours. General Information
- Players will be allowed onto the golf course as groups not to exceed four during peak play and five during non-peak at the eighteen-hole facilities and five at the nine-hole facility. The Golf Division reserves the right to pair players together in order to form the maximum number per group.
- The minimum age for minors wishing to play on Arlington Municipal Golf Courses is six (6) years of age.
- Anyone younger than ten (10) years of age must have knowledge of the game of golf; must be participating in the game of golf and accompanied by an adult over the age of eighteen (18).
- Minimum dress code requirements must be met for all golfers.
- Each player must have their own golf bag and set of golf clubs.
- The minimum age to rent an electric golf car is eighteen (18).
