Host Facilities: Texas Rangers Golf Club & Tierra Verde Golf Club

Eligibility: Open to all amateur golfers with an active GHIN or certifiable handicap.

Senior Division – 50 years or Older
Super Seniors – 65 years or Older
Ladies Championship, and Senior & Super Senior Flights

NOT required to be a resident of Arlington for entry.

Format: Individual Stroke Play – 36-Hole Championship with Round 1 at Texas Rangers GC and Round 2 at Tierra Verde GC.

Entry Fee: $225.00 per player inclusive of all green fees/cart fees/range fees for participants, tournament gifts & prizes, and food & beverage

Starting Times: Starting times will begin at 7:45 a.m. both days and will be available by calling Texas Rangers Golf Club golf shop after 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 16th. Starting times will also be e-mailed to all contestants after finalized. Second round starting times are based on first round score and will be available after completion of all play in round one.

Information: The 2020 Arlington Amateur Championship will use handicaps to determine flights. All players with a Handicap Index of 3.9 or less as of October 15, 2020 will be in the Championship Flight – Gross Winners Only. A player may declare Championship Flight (Black Tees at both TRGC & TVGC) and will be paired accordingly. All players with a Handicap Index of 4.0 or higher will be flighted based on the number of players, flights, and handicap index ranges and may vary depending on the number of participants. Prizes will be awarded for top Gross & Net players within each flight.

Rules of Golf: USGA rules will apply.

COVID-19 Info: We are doing our very best to allow our players to get back to playing competitive golf. We also ask you to do your best to help us. Please voluntarily follow the guidelines for players. We are relying on your cooperation in order to continue our tournament play safely and successfully. Where shared carts are utilized, players MUST wear a mask while riding with someone who is not in their household.
Players who are not comfortable sharing a cart or not able to comply with the mask requirement may elect to walk.
Face coverings are REQUIRED when indoors.
Face coverings are REQUIRED when social distancing cannot be practiced outdoors.
Any player that has experienced symptoms or has been exposed to COVID-19 will not be allowed to participate and will receive a full refund.
Please stay at home if you have had contact with a suspected or known COVID-19 patient, if you do not feel well, and/or display any new or worsening signs or symptoms.
